Rebecca Lago was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona with her two younger sisters, Laura and Miriam. Her parents, Marc and Meryl Tischler, significantly aided the Jewish community thereby instilling, throughout Rebecca’s formative years, the importance of giving back. Her father moved to Tucson to become a Professor of Biochemistry at the University of Arizona. Her mother held active roles with several advertising firms and assumed major leadership roles in fundraising for several charities. They both served on multiple boards and advocated for Jewish rights.
Rebecca graduated from the University of Arizona where she majored in Business with a minor in Communications. She participated actively within the Eller College of Business and as a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity. She began her career in Arizona as an Account Manager for The Boston Beer Company (BBC) working to promote and build the Sam
Adams brand. With her experience, BBC promoted her to undertake a new role within the company in Miami, Fl. Currently she works as the Brand Sales Manager for Concrete Beach Brewery in Wynwood, where she heads up a team to build and grow the brand across Florida.
Rebecca is actively engaged in the community where she serves on the Early Childhood Board at the Margaux School and as a member of the PA. Recently, she was elected to participate on the Board of the Women of Temple Judea as a VP for Community Outreach. Through this latter position she will raise money and strengthen connections with the community. Rebecca will excitedly join Mark and their two children on the campaign trail to help promote positive change in South Miami and the surrounding area!
